She/Her
Naomi Midanik is a Registered Psychotherapist and founder of Bright Balance Psychotherapy, where she supports professionals in high-responsibility, values-driven roles who are navigating burnout, moral distress, and chronic workplace stress.
Before becoming a therapist, Naomi spent 17 years working across corporate and non-profit sectors, including consumer packaged goods, banking, and international development organizations. She held both individual contributor and leadership roles, giving her firsthand insight into organizational pressure, emotional labour, and the cumulative impact of sustained responsibility.
Naomi holds a master’s degree in counselling psychology and a Master of Business Administration and brings both clinical training and lived experience to her work. Her approach to burnout emphasizes nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, boundary-setting, and sustainable engagement in meaningful work — particularly for those working in human rights and advocacy contexts.
