Natalie Jacyk has over a decade of experience in investigations, training and policy development. In her current role as Senior Human Rights Officer with the Toronto District School Board, she conducts and oversees complex investigations related to harassment and discrimination complaints. In her role, she works to increase the understanding of the nature and effects of harassment and discrimination, and promotes a culture of human rights, equity and inclusion for TDSB community members. Natalie engages in education, training and capacity-building for staff related to conflict resolution, investigation and provides guidance on the Human Rights Code and TDSB policies and procedures.

Prior to joining the TDSB, Natalie worked as an investigator and in leadership positions with two health regulators, where she fielded highly sensitive matters, including sexual abuse, physical abuse and privacy breaches. She also conducted training on the principles of professional governance and advised committee members when referring complaints to disciplinary committees. Natalie also worked with a leading workplace investigation firm where she provided investigation services to numerous public and private sector clients.

Natalie attended law school at Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Film Studies from McMaster University.
