She/Her
Natasha Savoline is a partner and an investigations practice lead with Bernardi Human Resource Law LLP. She helps employers and employees solve the issues they are facing and become better prepared for those that might come their way.
Natasha’s passion for fairness and creating positive and respectful workplaces informs her work as an experienced investigator. She applies a trauma-informed, anti-oppression approach and is skilled at investigating complex, multi-party and sensitive issues in union and non-unionized workplaces in areas such as harassment, mobbing, and workplace violence; sexual and gender-based harassment, sexual assault, and sexual violence; discrimination and harassment based on race, colour, ancestry (and related grounds), sex, disability, creed/religion, gender identity and expression, among others, including investigations involving competing human rights; poisoned work environments; and code of conduct violations.
Natasha has provided investigation services to school boards, universities and colleges, municipalities and their councils, police, fire and paramedic services, provincial governments, hospitals, airlines, medical professional associations, long term care homes, First Nations, professional associations, professional services firms, private organizations of all sizes, and not-for-profits. She also provides training to many of these organizations about how to conduct sound workplace investigations, including a certificate program specific to police services. Natasha believes in building on what is working well in addition to understanding what needs to change to shift workplace culture and repair strained workplace relationships. To help organizations and their employees achieve these outcomes, Natasha provides workplace transformation services including sensitivity training, respect in the workplace/anti-harassment and discrimination training, psychological health and safety, mediation and conflict resolution, workplace culture assessments, and municipal council training.
