Nicole Smith is a Partner at Pitblado Law who focuses on Employment and Labour Law and Human Rights Law. Her interest in the law was sparked during an exchange to San Luis Potosi, Mexico where she had the opportunity to intern in the Human Rights Commission of San Luis Potosi. She received her law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2012 and she articled and became an Associate at Pitblado Law in June 2013 and a Partner in January 2022. Nicole is often called on as a presenter to share her knowledge of employment standards relating to both employers and employees as well as other workplace matters.
Nicole’s involvement outside of work includes participating as a Board Member for the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, a member of the Executive Committee for the Women Lawyers Forum, as well as volunteering at organizations that provide access to justice in Winnipeg, such as the Legal Help Center.
