Nora Hindy is the director of the Centre for Global Citizenship Education at Centennial College. An equity and anti-racism leader with over 17 years of experience across education, healthcare, and the non-profit sector, she specializes in identifying and addressing systemic barriers for diverse communities. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Leadership and Policy at the University of Toronto, her research focuses on post-secondary institutions’ commitment to IEDI (Indigenization, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) through change management.
Nora holds a master’s in Public Policy, Administration and Law and serves on the Board of Directors of the Urban Alliance on Race Relations, where she collaborates with unions and advocacy groups to advance the voices of marginalized communities. She is also the co-founder of the Diversity Youth Fellowship, a national program that has supported over 200 radicalized youth in developing political and leadership skills in partnerships with municipalities across Canada.
