oline Twiss is the Deputy Registrar of the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists and the Deputy Commissioner at the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC. She joined the Office in 2014 and was Director of Investigations before being appointed Deputy. Deputy Twiss has worked on privacy and digital issues at the House of Commons of Canada and at the Samuelson-Glusho Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic at the University of Ottawa.
Deputy Twiss holds civil and common law degrees from McGill University, was called to the bar in Ontario in 2011 and is now a member of the Law Society of British Columbia. She is a Fellow of Information Privacy with the International Association of Privacy Professionals and holds certifications in privacy for Canada (CIPP/C), Europe (CIPP/E) and in privacy management (CIPM).
