Ms. Patricia Harewood is a full-time board member of the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board. She holds degrees in civil law (LL.L. cum laude) and common law (LL.B.) from the University of Ottawa, where she studied in French, graduating from the National Program at the Faculty of Law in 2005. She also has a B.A. in geography with a minor in international development from McGill University. She is currently completing her professional LL.M. in Dispute Resolution at Osgoode (York University).

Prior to being appointed to the Board in March 2023, Ms. Harewood spent over a decade in a variety of roles at the largest union in the federal public sector, including as a bilingual grievance and adjudication officer, in-house counsel, Acting Director of Representation and Legal Services, and Coordinator of Oppression Prevention. She also served as a senior advisor on equity to management, union leaders and the National President. In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to her community, reading and nature walks with her family.
