Paul Champ is a labour and human rights lawyer with Champ & Associates in Ottawa. His work for trade unions has established legal precedents in employee privacy, occupational health and safety, and racial discrimination. Paul has also acted as counsel in several important constitutional law cases dealing with human rights and civil liberties. He represents organizations such as Amnesty International, the B.C. Civil Liberties Association, the Council of Canadians with Disabilities, and the Elizabeth Fry Society.

In 2010, Paul was the recipient of the Reg Robson Civil Liberties Award, and in 2013, he received the Walter S. Tarnopolsky Human Rights Award from the International Commission of Jurists.

Paul holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia, an LL.M. from McGill University, and a B.J. from Carleton University.
