Paul Lewis is the Chief Economist at the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO). In this role, Paul leads the development of the FAO’s reports on economic and fiscal projections, labour market analysis, the impact of climate change on infrastructure, and key government policy issues.

Prior to joining the FAO, Paul was the Director of Macroeconomics and Revenue at the Ministry of Finance, guiding the development of the province’s economic and revenue forecasts. He also has extensive experience in population projections, demographics, and social policy analysis, including poverty and income inequality.
