Raj Dhir is currently the Executive Director of Indigenous Justice Policy at the Ministry of the Attorney General (Indigenous Justice Division) and Ontario’s Chair of the Collaborative Technical Table focused on the enforcement and prosecution of First Nations laws.

Raj previously spent over 15 years at the Ontario Human Rights Commission where, as the Executive Director, he oversaw all operations including legal, policy, communications, and corporate services; and as counsel, he litigated and advised on a variety of human rights matters and appeared before administrative tribunals and all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

He has also served in a variety of roles at the Ministry of the Attorney General including Assistant Deputy Attorney General (Policy Division) with a dual mandate for legal policy development as well as agency and tribunal relations; Portfolio Director (Civil Law Division) overseeing 10 seconded legal services branches across the Ontario Public Service; Legal Director at the former Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation; and as Deputy Legal Director in roles at the Crown Law Office Civil and the Constitutional Law Branches, and in the Ministry of Labour (Litigation and Solicitor Practices).
