Renzo Del Negro is the Director of Human Resources at the City of Coquitlam and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the British Columbia Public School Employers’ Association (BCPSEA).
Renzo is a seasoned professional in the field of human resources whose career has been defined by a passion for driving organizational growth through employee engagement, talent acquisition and retention strategies. His expertise in fostering collaborative relationships between labor unions and management has been pivotal in achieving mutually beneficial outcomes and creating functional work environments. His extensive background in labour relations and collective bargaining includes leading bargaining at the City, acting as spokesperson at provincial bargaining tables during several rounds of negotiations with unionized teaching and support staff, as well as coordinating local bargaining initiatives between individual boards of education and their local unions. Renzo has earned a reputation for his empathetic leadership style, exceptional negotiation skills, and dedication to building inclusive and diverse workforces.
Renzo holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource and Industrial Relations Management from the University of British Columbia.
