From Haitian background, Richard Gaboton is the father of two wonderful children. Richard has worked in the field of anti-racism and DEI for almost 20 years. He is an Advisor in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility for the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC).
He represents PIPSC on the National Joint Committee on Employment and Equity alongside government agencies. He is also a member of the formidable Coalition of Black Trade Unionist (CBTU). His vocation is a promise made to his children to leave them a decolonized land where the inhabitants of Turtle Island will reconcile, respect each other, and protect the nature that helps them to live.
