Roger Beaudry is an experienced mediator, arbitrator, investigator, and dispute prevention/resolution consultant. His mediation practice focuses primarily on employment, labour, insurance, estate, corporate, commercial, and professional malpractice disputes. He and Joy Noonan founded Aptus Conflict Solutions in 2008.

Roger spent the first two years of his career as a law professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa, teaching various subjects including commercial law, evidence, and wills. He joined the Ottawa law firm of Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP in 1986. As a lawyer, he had a diversified civil litigation and labour law practice. In 1997, Roger left the practice of law to work as a mediator, arbitrator, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) consultant and trainer with the Stitt Feld Handy Group and ADR Chambers.

Roger holds an LL.M. from the University of Toronto and an LL.B. and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa. He has been designated a Chartered Mediator (C.Med.) and a Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb.) by the ADR Institute of Canada. In 2020, he was inducted into Canadian Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and recognized for mediation and arbitration.
