Mr. Ronald Pizzo is a labour and employment lawyer, facilitator, and mediator with over 35 years of experience resolving complex workplace disputes in both unionized and non-unionized work environments. He writes on conflict resolution, trauma-informed dispute resolution, and leadership development.

Mr. Pizzo is often retained to work with organizations, leaders, and teams in conflict after all other dispute-resolution measures have failed. He has worked in private industry, professional organizations, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental organizations. He believes that although workplace conflict is unavoidable, it does not have to devolve into dysfunctional conflict. With the right approach, high conflict can be managed.

Demonstrating his commitment to professional development, he holds advanced certification in Transformative Mediation from the Institute of Conflict Transformation, is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Coaches’ Training Institute, and is certified in the Pro-Social Matrix Communication Process. He also holds certifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Advanced ADR.
