Ruth Strong, as Senior Lead, Dispute and Advisory Services, serves as the team leader for the City of Edmonton’s labour relations consultants providing dispute and advisory services across the City. This team is responsible for providing all labour/employee relations advice to their assigned client groups, and support leaders who have staff within all six of the City of Edmonton’s collective agreements, as well as out-of-scope and management staff. She works with the team to ensure that disciplines being applied are consistent. She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with all of the City of Edmonton unions. She previously served as the City’s Senior Negotiator across multiple collective agreement groups.
