Sandy Donaldson is a Senior Legal Advisor with the Ontario Nurses’ Association in Toronto. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Sandy has been practising labour and employment law since his call to the bar in 2007, in both private practice and in-house union counsel. As a union litigator, Sandy worked extensively in human rights and disability law, including a successful Charter challenge to the former mental health restrictions in the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. Sandy has appeared at the Ontario Labour Relations Board, Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Divisional Court and Court of Appeal.
