Saranjit Singh Cheema is in-house counsel to the LiUNA Ontario Provincial District Council and former counsel to the Canadian Union of Public Employees National and the United Food and Commercial Workers Locals 175 & 633. Saranjit has practised exclusively as union-side counsel since 2017. In 2019, Saranjit ran for the federal New Democratic Party in the riding of Brampton East and finished second. Saranjit is currently Regional Vice-President (Ontario) of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. Saranjit was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
