Scott Streiner is an independent mediator and arbitrator who helps parties resolve commercial, labour, and workplace disputes through both virtual and in-person processes.

Scott is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is on the panels of the ADR Institute of Canada, the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre, the London Court of International Arbitration, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the Israeli Center for Mediation and Arbitration. He is also the Lead, International Arbitration for the Israeli Center.

Scott worked in the federal government for three decades. His roles included Chair and CEO of the Canadian Transportation Agency (2015–21), a quasi-judicial tribunal and regulator, where he spearheaded comprehensive regulatory reform that led to development and adoption of the groundbreaking Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations; Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet for Economic Policy (2014–15); Assistant Deputy Minister, Labour and Head of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (2007–10); Director General, Human Resources with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (2002–05); and a number of analyst and management positions with the Canadian Human Rights Commission (1990–2000).

In addition to his mediation and arbitration practice, Scott works as a senior advisor with Deloitte, focusing on public sector governance, regulatory modernization, access to justice, and transportation. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University.
