Shannon Devine is a longtime communications professional, labour and equity advocate, campaigner, and leader of successful teams. She is currently the national head of the Communications and Political Action Department at the United Steelworkers union. During her 17 years working in trade unions, she has worked as the national Communications Director for the Canadian Auto Workers and later Unifor, as well as the Executive Director of the Ontario Federation of Labour, leading efforts around labour law reform.
Shannon has led the internal and external communications for dozens of rounds of collective bargaining and workplace campaigns, prioritizing building a strong, informed, and engaged union membership.
