Shiran Brener is counsel in the Labour Practice Group with the Treasury Board Secretariat, Legal Services Branch, Government of Ontario.
Shiran advises clients on the full spectrum of workplace issues, including human rights, workplace health and safety, conflict of interest, interpretation of collective agreements, and grievance arbitration. Shiran represents clients at the Human Rights Tribunal, Grievance Settlement Board, and the Public Service Grievance Board. In addition, she’s currently the Chair of MAG’s Conflict of Interest Working Group.
Shiran graduated from the University of Ottawa with a LL.B in 2008 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009. She also graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York University in 2004.
