Sotonye Godwin-Hart is a lawyer at Koskie Glavin Gordon. She represents public and private sector unions in matters relating to termination of employment, accommodation issues, contract and policy interpretation, and human rights matters in arbitrations, mediations, and before various administrative tribunals. In addition to her union side labour relations, Sotonye provides legal advisory services to senior management and executive level employees in matters involving employment contract negotiations and wrongful dismissal and negotiation of severance entitlements.

In addition to her labour and employment practice, Sotonye has represented clients before the B.C. Supreme Court and B.C. Provincial Court.

Sotonye is a board member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL) B.C. branch. Outside of work, Sotonye enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends and good fiction books.
