Tom McKenna is a National Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation Board Advocacy Representative with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (British Columbia Regional Office) where he has performed workers’ compensation advocacy for 25 years and occupational health and safety for more than 10 years. His experience with workers compensation includes: WorkSafeBC claims appeals; review and analysis of WorkSafeBC policy, regulation, and legislation; and assisting with return-to-work programs, accommodation, and vocational rehabilitation programs.
