Tom McKenna is a National Health and Safety Representative with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (British Columbia Regional Office) where he has performed workers’ compensation advocacy for 25 years and occupational health and safety for more than 10 years. His experience with workers’ compensation includes conducting over 2,300 WorkSafeBC claims appeals; review and analysis of new WorkSafeBC policy, regulation, and legislation; assisting with return-to-work programs and vocational rehabilitation programs.
