She/Her
Tricia Wilson is a passionate and experienced advocate for human rights, with a long-standing commitment to advancing equity for Black, Indigenous, and workers of colour and finding ways to mobilize all workers in support of diversity and inclusion.
Her journey began at the grassroots level, serving on equity committees in her local union, and has evolved through a series of progressive leadership roles. Tricia has worked as a member organizer in both the Political Action and Organizing Departments at Unifor and has facilitated harassment investigations through Unifor’s Human Rights Department. She has also served as a discussion leader, delivering impactful courses on human rights and women’s issues to Unifor members and leaders across the country.
Equity and inclusion have always been at the heart of Tricia’s activism. She is known for creating spaces that foster honest, often difficult conversations about racism, discrimination, and harassment. Tricia believes deeply that confronting these challenges and driving systemic change is not only essential for individual dignity and justice—but also key to building a stronger, more resilient future where diversity is truly valued, and inclusion is the norm.
