Will Skinner is a Strategic Negotiations Lead at the Health Employers Association of BC (HEABC). HEABC is the accredited bargaining agent for most publicly funded health employers in the province, negotiating six major provincial agreements covering 170,000 unionized health care employees. During the 2022–2025 round of collective bargaining, Will was the lead employer-side negotiator for the Ambulance Paramedics and Ambulance Dispatchers collective agreement. Will also sat at the Health Services and Support – Community Subsector bargaining table, providing legal advice and drafting support. At HEABC, Will previously worked as Legal Counsel, responsible for running grievance arbitrations and mediations on behalf of health sector employers.
Prior to coming to HEABC, Will completed his articles at a national firm and worked a litigation boutique as a civil litigator. He completed his law degree at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and was called to the Bar in 2016.
