Michelle Willette was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1999, and practises primarily management-side employment and labour law, acting on behalf of provincially and federally regulated employers. She represents public institutions and private corporations, providing advice with respect to all workplace issues.

In 25 years of practice, Michelle has advised employers in public health, social enterprise, municipal government, post-secondary education, and private industry about workplace investigations. She is familiar with and has applied both provincial and federal workplace harassment and human rights legislation. Michelle has also advised administrative panels and health authorities in relation to investigations conducted under Medical Staff Bylaws.

Michelle is a certified workplace investigator and has trained clients in internal workplace investigations. Michelle has extensive experience in retaining external investigators and in advising both employers and investigators in procedural aspects of workplace investigations.
