She/Her

Sarah graduated from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law in 2011, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2012. She is a litigator, partner and co-founder of Bow River Law LLP, an employment law, human rights law, and labour law boutique firm in Calgary, Alberta.

Her practice is primarily plaintiff-side employment law, and she has represented clients at the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal, the Alberta Labour Relations Board, and many other administrative bodies.

Sarah is very involved in the legal profession outside her practice, and she is actively involved with the Canadian Bar Association – Alberta Chapter, the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Women Lawyers.
